Atriz negocia para interpretar "contraponto" de Jack Sparrow

 

A atriz Penélope Cruz é o primeiro nome, depois de Johnny Depp, a aparecer no elenco de Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, quarto filme da cinessérie Piratas do Caribe.

 

Segundo o Hollywood Reporter, Cruz ainda negocia sua participação e sua personagem seria "contraponto a Jack Sparrow e igual a ele de diversas formas".

 

 

No filme, Jack Sparrow parte em busca da mítica Fonte de Juventude - história baseada no livro On Stranger Tides, de Tim Powers. O roteiro de Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides está sendo adaptado pelos autores do original, Terry Rossio e Ted Elliot, e terá direção de Rob Marshall (Chicago).

 

Piratas do Caribe 4 será rodado nas ilhas de Kaua'i e O'ahu, no Havaí, no meio do ano. A estréia é prevista para 20 de maio de 2011.
